[My Founding Story]

For over twenty years, I helped leaders of some of the world’s largest corporations, government agencies, and NGOs create billions of dollars in breakthroughs by reengineering their business processes and management systems.

And, along the way, I discovered something unexpected:

Outer success often masks inner struggle.

Despite their achievements, far too many of these leaders were emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and burning out. They were doing well, but they certainly didn’t feel that way.

My wake-up call came when I hit my own wall as a successful Managing Director and CEO. That's when I learned high performance that does not sacrifice well-being requires more than strong organizational systems—it demands equally strong personal ones too. 

I couldn't find any leadership development programs that addressed this gap with the practical, systematic approaches I needed. So, I applied the same reengineering discipline I used with clients to my own leadership—integrating process optimization with mindfulness practices and habit formation science. The result was a personal transformation of both my performance and well-being. Once I proved it worked for me, I began teaching these integrated methods to others.

For ten years, I developed and taught these sustainable leadership practices to nearly 1,000 leaders at Harvard Business School Executive Education, Harvard University, John Hancock Financial Services, Lawrence General Hospital, and other leading organizations, consistently earning 4.8 out of 5 ratings. Their results confirmed what I had experienced: when you systematically redesign your personal leadership system using business process reengineering, mindfulness, and habit formation principles, you can eliminate the false choice between performance and well-being.
